The Political Organizer is responsible for building grassroots power to advance the organization’s political goals. This position involves recruiting, training, and mobilizing volunteers; developing relationships with community leaders and stakeholders; and executing field strategies that drive voter engagement, issue advocacy, and campaign success.

Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Recruitment & Engagement: Identify, recruit, and train volunteers to participate in canvassing, phone banking, text outreach, and voter registration activities.
Community Outreach: Build relationships with local organizations, civic groups, and community leaders to expand the campaign’s visibility and influence.
Field Operations: Plan and implement field strategies, including neighborhood canvasses, visibility events, and grassroots actions.
Voter Contact: Manage and execute direct voter contact efforts, ensuring data accuracy and effective message delivery.
Event Coordination: Organize rallies, town halls, trainings, and other events to engage supporters and the public.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of contact, volunteer shifts, and voter interactions using campaign databases or CRM tools.
Communications Support: Assist with social media outreach, digital organizing, and the creation of localized messaging materials.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with campaign staff and partners to align field activities with overall strategic goals.
