Sage Media is seeking a Digital Strategist to join our team of collaborative, campaign-tested professionals. We are a full-service political media buying agency that works with Democratic candidates and committees across the country, partnering on everything from local city council races to statewide and national candidate & advocacy campaigns.

It will be your responsibility to:
- Build and own comprehensive media plans that align with strategic objectives, budget constraints, and audience targeting priorities across Google Ads, Meta, and DSPs (The Trade Desk, StackAdapt, DV360)
- Translate campaign goals into channel mix, flighting, and budget allocation recommendations
- Develop audience strategy and targeting frameworks, including segmentation and data partner selection
- Stand up and manage campaigns in-platform — build campaign structures, traffic assets, and tag for tracking — partnering with ad ops to ensure optimization and pacing
- Analyze campaign results and lead client-facing reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations
- Serve as a strategic point of contact for clients, communicating performance narratives and optimization rationale
- Collaborate cross-functionally with linear, competitive, and finance teams to ensure integrated, coordinated campaign execution
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $68,000 - $80,000 per year, with a competitive end-of-cycle bonus

Our ideal candidate brings:
- 1-3 years of experience in digital media for political campaigns, IEs, committees, or agencies
- Familiarity with the political digital landscape — especially platforms, regulations, and industry norms
- Hands-on experience in Google Ads, Meta, and/or DSPs (TTD, StackAdapt, DV360, Basis, etc.) — comfortable building campaigns and trafficking assets in-platform
- Strong media planning instincts: pricing models, ad types, audience segmentation, and key performance metrics
- Exceptional spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets and/or Excel) — confident with formulas, pacing sheets, and campaign trackers
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a track record of presenting performance data clearly to clients and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines across multiple workstreams
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting, with an instinct for when to ask questions or bring in support
- Nice to have: experience with CM360, TargetSmart, L2, or Catalist; SQL/Python or other data skills; familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for workflow automation, or data analysis
